NO. Carbon Monoxide is the by product or waste from burning fossil fuels (oil, gas, coal,wood,propane etc). The natural gas is actually odorless and that is why they add chemicals to it so you can smell it. Have it checked and serviced. A leak or smell is dangerous, both to inhale and possibly explosion
