So...Mr. de Menezes was aggressive, so we're told. D�j� vu, anyone?
Fortunately, in 1980 they didn't go chasing after the suspects with guns loaded with dum-dum bullets. What we must all remember now is this; if you see somebody chasing you, don't run. Put your hands up or you might get shot. You only need to have a suntan to qualify. This could have happened to anyone, and though a line must be drawn somewhere, I can't help but think that the police in the de Menezes case were just a little too hasty. I do remember, however, armed police shooting up a mini, mistakenly thinking that a certain criminal was in it, and making a mistake.
