Why do people make life harder than it has to be?

People make everything overly complicated . Specially NOW in this scam, spam, whame-Bam, world we live in. Your reasoning is sound. When i was married it was the worst, most complicated Fked-UP time in my whole life. And no reward for ALL the sacrifices. biggest mistake of my life !
