How do I get a business partner out of our LLC?

My partners and I formed an LLC. We never had an operating agreement drafted up. One of the partners is not contrubiting any money into the company. I have contacted this partner via email and asked him to fulfill his monetary obligation as a member. His reply was that he had raised $325,000 to help start the business. We have paid him back plus some. That was over two years ago. He has not contrubited any money or has helped in the business operations since then. I am currently in negotiations to sell one of the propertys the LLC has aquired. This property will yeild us millions. What do I do????
