Is this a good way of subtly letting her know I want to break up with her before the actual break up?

I've been seeing her for about 6 months and things between us have been too awkward lately. I'm not interested in continuing the relationship but want to be as respectful about it as possible, and I'm really dreading that valentine's day is coming up. I'm thinking about texting her saying 'we need to talk... wanna grab a coffee early tomorrow?'
